Barbara Jean Larson

Barbara J. Larson, 78, of Hot Springs Village passed away on Friday, December 19, 2014 at a local hospital surrounded by family. Barbara was born November 17, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois to the late Earl and Cora Mowder.

Barbara was very active in her Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church; she was a member of AAUW of HSV, the Village Quilting Guild and the mahjong group.

Barbara is survived by her 3 daughters, Dale Duplessis, Susan Larson and husband Rajeev Jain, Kirsten Larson, 2 grandsons, Matthew and Daniel Duplessis, and her brother Gary Mowder. She is preceded by her husband Roger Larson.

A Memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23rd at Christ of the Hills Methodist Church.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to either of the following organizations that were dear to her heart: AAUW Scholarship Fund c/o NPCC Foundation 101 College Dr. Hot Springs, AR 71910 or to Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church 700 Balearic Road Hot Springs Village, AR 71909
